One of my favourite leisurely activities is to sort through my stuff – organize, create systems, maintain my (living)archives etc. – none are perfect, but editing through the chaos helps me recognize personal patterns and themes, and reinforce a sense of self, beneath the layers of what I’ve gathered and consumed.

Ever since I started drawing digitally, I’ve been keeping an archive of my drawn fragments. It serves as a soft landing when I find it difficult to begin. It’s a way of taking care of and reconnecting with the things I’ve made. I revisit – play, edit, rearrange. Eventually I tire of reusing, or my taste changes, so naturally, I build on top and expand my library.
