"Surfaces of Impact and Soft Landings"
Draakon gallery, Tallinn, 2018
Exhibition views: Cloe Jancis, Hedi Jaansoo
Surfaces of impact as different stubborn obstacles that despite all efforts to break them will bounce back their opponent. Being in confrontation you’ll learn to fend off strikes and to soften your falls. It may happen that opposition will develop into practiced activity that is adaptable.
Its familiarity is comfortable and comforting. It is even possible that the wish to take down the wall disappears because it is actually sometimes nice to lean against it or to let its surface bounce you off. That way you can at least be sure that the landing will be expectedly soft.
